Can IJT die?

It is with much regret that we announce that Radio Netherlands Worldwide (RNW) has decided to stop publishing the International Justice Tribune (IJT). This sad decision was issued in the context of massive budgetary cuts faced by RNW on June 22. Since its creation in 2004 – and since RNW took over the newsletter in 2009, IJT’s editors and correspondents have worked hard to provide a critical and analytical global perspective on trials and paralegal initiatives on war crimes and crimes against humanity. For the past eight years, IJT has been the only independent newspaper offering specialised journalistic coverage of international justice throughout the world.
